Help In Need is honoured to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from Dr. Tariq Ullah, Deputy Commissioner Swabi, in recognition of the organisation’s humanitarian efforts during the Qurban 2026 campaign.

This recognition belongs to everyone who made it happen. Our field teams, volunteers, donors, and partners worked together to make sure the blessings of Eid ul Adha reached thousands of deserving families across Swabi District. Through our Qurbani Programme, Help In Need distributed fresh meat to vulnerable households so that families could celebrate Eid with dignity and joy.

Bringing the Spirit of Eid ul Adha to Those in Need
Every year, Help In Need carries out large-scale Qurbani and meat distribution to support families facing economic hardship. During Qurban 2026, our teams worked hard to identify vulnerable households and make sure Qurbani meat reached the people who needed it most.
The work in Swabi did not happen in isolation. It was part of a much bigger operation that stretched across Pakistan this Eid. Our teams were active in Bahawalpur, Islamabad, and Swabi all at the same time. You can read about the full picture in our Qurban 2026 Distribution Recap.
This work also connects to our Poverty Alleviation and Human Development programme, which aims to reduce hunger and improve the lives of underserved communities throughout the year. A Qurban distribution is one moment. The commitment behind it runs all year.
A Collective Achievement
Receiving this certificate from the Deputy Commissioner of Swabi is not just recognition for one campaign. It is a reflection of what becomes possible when people come together around a shared purpose.
The success of Qurban 2026 would not have happened without our partner IHHNL (IHH Nederland), whose generous support made the Swabi distribution possible at scale. It would not have happened without the donors who trusted HIN with their Qurbani. And it would not have happened without every volunteer and field worker who stood in the heat and made delivery after delivery, family after family, across the district.
Many of the families reached in Swabi are also supported through our Seasonal Interventions and Orphan Care programme and our Orphan Cash Grant Programme. These families are not strangers to us. They are people we know by name, people whose situations our case workers have assessed and followed up on, people who have been part of HIN’s support network for months or years.
Reaching them on Eid Day with fresh Qurbani meat was not just a distribution. It was a continuation of a relationship built on trust.
We also extend sincere gratitude to UK Islamic Mission, who partnered with HIN this Eid as part of our growing network of international organisations that trust HIN’s ground presence and accountability systems to deliver on their behalf.
Strengthening Communities Through Humanitarian Action
At Help In Need, we believe meaningful change happens when communities come together. The recognition from the district administration of Swabi reflects not only the success of a single campaign but also our ongoing commitment to the people we serve.
Alongside our Qurbani work, we continue to invest in programmes that make a difference beyond Eid:
Our Building Resilience and Humanitarian Response programme supports communities in districts like Swabi that have faced years of displacement, flooding, and economic instability.
Our Poverty Alleviation and Human Development work supports children’s education, women’s literacy, and vocational skills so that families are better equipped to meet their own needs over time.
Our WASH and Primary Health Care programme has brought clean water access to over 210,000 people and hygiene education to 140,000 children across Pakistan.
Chairman Mr. Inam Masoodi visited Qurbani distribution points across the country on Eid Day himself, standing alongside teams in the field to make sure every Amanah was fulfilled with excellence and care. His presence on the ground said everything about the culture HIN tries to build.
Looking Ahead
As we receive this recognition, we remain focused on what comes next.
The three days of Eid are behind us. Post-distribution reporting is underway. Beneficiary follow-up is being conducted. And the daily work of our programmes continues without pause.
We dedicate this Certificate of Appreciation to our partners, volunteers, staff, and every donor whose generosity made Qurban 2026 possible. You trusted HIN with your Ibadah and your support. We hope we honoured that trust.
If you would like to be part of what we do beyond Eid, you can support our year-round work through our Ways to Donate page, learn more about who we are on our About Us page, or get in touch directly.
