Most people see the result — a family sitting together on Eid morning, fresh meat on the table, children eating well for the first time in weeks. What they do not see is everything that came before: the planning meetings, the partner agreements, the distribution routes mapped across districts to make sure not a single family is missed.

This week, Help In Need welcomed colleagues from Hasene International to our Head Office in Islamabad for the final planning meeting of the Qurban Project 2026 — a milestone that marks the end of weeks of preparation and the beginning of one of the most important distributions in our humanitarian calendar.
“Together, we continue our commitment to serving communities with compassion, unity, and dedication. Ready to share joy and blessings.” — Help In Need, Islamabad
The Qurban Project — At a Glance
The final planning meeting in Islamabad covered beneficiary lists, distribution routes, animal sourcing, Shariah compliance checks, and post-distribution reporting. Every major decision was verified — down to which field officer covers which district and when fresh meat must leave the slaughter point to reach remote families on the days of Eid.
This is not a one-day operation. Behind every Qurban distribution, there are weeks of field assessments, community verification, and logistics coordination. The meeting this week is the final checkpoint before operations begin.
Who We Reach
HIN’s Qurban distributions reach Pakistan’s most underserved communities — prioritising families that other distributions often miss. Our Seasonal Interventions and Orphan Care programme leads the selection process, supported by field data from our Resilience and Humanitarian Response teams. Beneficiaries include:
- Flood-affected and displaced families
- Orphan households and female-headed families
- Widows with no stable income
- Communities in remote districts without market access to meat
What the Final Meeting Confirmed

This kind of partnership is what makes scale possible. International organisations like Hasene connect HIN’s ground presence with a global donor base — allowing communities in Lakki Marwat, Bagh, or rural Sindh to receive Qurban meat because someone abroad fulfilled their obligation through a trusted channel, and trusted HIN to deliver it.
The families in our Orphan Care programme are among the first prioritised for Qurban distribution. Many of them received their quarterly cash grant just weeks ago. Eid ul Adha adds something a cash grant cannot — the shared experience of celebration, of meat on the table, of not being invisible on a day when everyone else is feasting.
That is what this planning meeting was really about. Not just logistics — purpose.
