Introduction

Established in 2003, “HELP IN NEED” (HIN) is working to assist and improve the lives of deprived communities of Pakistan irrespective of race, gender, color or religion discrimination. HIN is non-political, & not for profit social organization duly registered with Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under section 42 of the companies, ordinance 1984 under the company Registration no of 0065549. The organization is also certified by Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) meeting its certification standards in the areas of internal governance, financial management & program delivery. It also has tax exemption certificate (under section 2(36) of the income tax from Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) government of Pakistan.

Since the inception of HIN (2003) we are putting efforts to transform the communities which is now synonyms to our commitments and obligations, in a similar way to our organizational name “HELP IN NEED”.

HIN promotes a culture of gender equity, diversity and inclusion, environmental sustainability and general well-being for everyone everywhere. We remain guided by the timeless values and teachings of the Qur’an and the prophetic example (Sunnah), most specifically we have five values we are following: commitment, transparency, integrity, impartiality and respect. We work thoroughly to ensure the voices of the oppressed are heard, the biggest challenges of our time tackled, and we continue saving lives when disasters strike.


Help in Need (HIN) is thankful to contemporary NGO’s, Communities, Government Line Agencies, partners and its committed staff for extending their support during humanitarian situations and hard times.

After spending 15+ years in the humanitarian sector and continuously putting efforts to respond humanitarian situation where we help people those were affected by disasters and suffering with distress and hardships.


As an active national organization in humanitarian sector we are committed to transform communities through inclusive package of interventions in our targeted areas. HELP IN NEED under its organizational mission “By improving the capacity of people to govern, educate, and produce a foundation to cherish a vibrant, promising & self-reliant society” is investing in human, social and financial capital in longer run.


Looking ahead, we are focused on accelerating the execution of our five-years (2020 -25) strategy while continuing to build on the strength of our brand “HELP IN NEED” in helping our targeted communities through their indigenous knowledge and inclusive approach to bring a positive change for the communities in which we work and live.


I am incredibly excited about this journey and truly believe the best of HELP IN NEED is yet to come In Sha Allah.
